Ok, finally, the horrors have happened to me. All was well, but now I'm getting seriously pissed.
I work 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. Those hours are mandatory. My pay is equalling less than minimum wage. I e-mailed the company asking them about having to pay me minimum wage given the mandatory hours. The only response I got was "I'll look into it." That was over a week ago.
In addition, the platform we use that records our lines is not recording all my jobs! I write down all the jobs I do and their corresponding job number, and I have found this program shorting me out on jobs 1 or 2 at a time on any given day. This is my only way of knowing my lines. The only other way would be to copy and paste into another program and record the lines. Pain in the butt and I shouldn't have to do that. Waste my time to make sure the company I work for isn't stabbing me in the back.
I mentioned that in my first e-mail, and that person told me to e-mail somebody else about that issue. So I did. And again, all I got was "I'll look into it."
On top of this, we're changing platforms and doing a whole bunch of switching around. So, I'm fully aware that these ladies are busy. I hate to pester them about it, but this is my money! I'm losing hundreds of dollars by some faulty software and by the company not, in my opinion, legally compensating me for my time.
I will e-mail them again, but if I keep getting blown off, where do I turn to to request the money I've earned? And, how do I prove that I did do the jobs the software is shorting me on? I have the job numbers written down, but what if my name isn't recorded on that job listing or something?
