Have to vent...good God enough with the mass e-mails every few minutes already...sm - losing my patience

Just have to vent a little before I go insane. I'm happy with the current company I'm working for but OMG enough with the constant mass e-mails all day long already! They copy everybody on everything and it's such a nuisance...can't get into the "zone" at all this way.

I want to close down my outlook but can't because we have to be on the lookout for stats...okay...that felt good....back to work and stupid e-mails that do not pertain to me...

The company mass emails MISTAKES to everyone. I get that it is a reminder to everyone, but then it makes me second guess myself, was *I* the one doing this? If they send a mass email, I also wish they would send the person that actually is making these errors an email as well, and I have asked several times for this feedback, which is never answered.

Talk about frustrating!

Mass emails sometimes have to be necessary...sm. - Been there done that.

When you have a group of 100+ MTs who need that information, you have to send a mass email to make sure everyone has that info. Who has time to distribute just to this group or that group when it could pertain to them all except a handful. I have run into the situation where someone will complain that they did not get information they were supposed to get. We recommend if you know it doesn't pertain to you, then just delete it. Consider both sides. Mass emails may be needed to nip something in the bud sooner than later but should be followed up with an individual email to whoever is making the error as well.

I have entered "pama" as my shortcut for parotid mass; but also I transcribe the phrase "palpable mass", and would logically use "pama" for that. What is a good way in general to handle phrases that would use the same shortcut? Also, specifically for these two phrases, what would you use? It appears to be only counting the active time to be the actual time the audio is playing and not all the time I spend in ADT and formatting. You have to do the QCare thing when you get NJA. Then, they send you a ticket number. Great. What do you do with the stupid ticket number? Are you entered in a drawing? It really gets ridiculous. Some are important and MANY are not. Some are ridiculous. You have to read through them all in case there is something important there. Don't you just love how you get threatening e-mails wanting you to work more as clients are unhappy because their work is not getting back in a timely fashion. Where was this concern when we were running out of work on a daily basis and were expected to just sit and wait for work. Should "2-cm" be hyphenated? I know if it was just 2-cm mass it would be. In this case, 4 x 2 x 2 is still describing "mass" but it does not look right this way 4 x 2 x 2-cm mass. Ugh, it should still be hyphenated, huh? Anyone? ...
