Like when you start a job and are on 100% QA.
I am so nervous that I am missing so much that I shouldn't be missing. A lot of it is having to learn a new platform and new dictators all at the same time. For the first couple of days after their tech installed programs on my PC they were giving me instructions and the programs weren't working. They had a different tech look at my PC and one of the programs wasn't even installed. It seems like takes forever to get anyone to respond when I need help on something.
I had hoped to at least be given some kind of visual and vocal training on the platform instead of just being given some instructions by several emails and expected to understand everything, especially when I am STILL getting "Oh wait, I forgot to mention. Don't do (insert whatever) when this happens, but you MUST do it when this happens (or for this particular dictator EVERY time)." I don't even have any past reports to go by. I specifically told them I have almost no ESL experience so far and ESLs are all I have been assigned this entire week. I understand that I need practice to be better on ESLs and bad dictators in general, but I am still in the evaluation period. At the last position I had I always made 99% or above with every dictator including the one ESL I had a chance to transcribe. Unfortunately, the hospital just went over to Epic and I lost my job.
If I didn't need this job so much I would be leaving, but right now that isn't an option. I am in the process of finding something though.
