Can anybody give me any feedback about JLG Transcription?Â

When I was recruited to work there, I was promised many things. I was promised a primary and a secondary account. That did not happen. I was put on many accounts that were interspersed with each other, like shuffling cards. When I called the office and said I was told I would get a primary account, I was told they did not do that anymore. I was told I would never run out of work. Not true. Ran out the first week I was there. I was told I would have Christmas and Thanksgiving off. They changed the rules and was FORCED to pick one of those days to work. I was told I would get paid for spaces and headers. Be careful - they might sneak one in one you where you get paid for black characters only. Communication is awful. You will be lucky to get an answer from anyone about anything. Work flow does not seem to know what is going on from person to person. I was lied to and blown off many times. I have never been treated as badly as when I worked there. Good luck if you go to work there - you'll need it.

Everything that went wrong was put on me, everything was my fault. I got out as soon as possible. Thank goodness I knew better than to believe them.

She'll call you on the phone one day and talk to you like your best friend and make you think you have a position there. Keep in touch, she says. I got the Infinity foot pedal that was needed and upgraded to Word 2007. When I kept in touch, as she said, telling her everything was in place to begin work on 08-09, all my emails were ignored. I even called the company. She apparently works remotely from the address on the web page, but the gentleman who answered the phone took my number and said he would email her and have her call me. Shortly thereafter, I got an email from her that she DOES NOT REMEMBER WHO I AM!!! Needless to say, I'm out the money for the foot pedal and the update to my Word program, AND I HAVE NO JOB!!!

I had the complete opposite experience with Giselle the recruiter. She was very nice and assisted me greatly. I'm sorry to read your experience with her was negative but I thank my lucky stars because she was very quick to respond and take care of all my issues and workflow and their tech dept was awesome with me and my computer issues. I would try again I am sure she has many MTs that e-mail her and voice and air your issues. I believe it is worth a try nothing to lose.

If you've communicated with her, surely you thought to get something in writing even via email before buying a foot pedal and a Word update, didn't you? This is just common sense. You don't spend money without having something in writing. And if you've exchanged emails with her, all you have to do is forward all of this to her.
That said, I have worked for JLG and wouldn't recommend it.

QA Feedback? Nov 02, 2009I got feedback on a report today, CRITICAL FEEDBACK. The doctor dictating was absolutely horrible, worse than horrible. Feedback Jan 26, 2011I'm so happy! I got my audit, passed with flying colors and got an email from sup saying good work and keep it up! He also suggested that I submit for a raise since I've been consistent. I said I didn't know that we could, but apparently we can if we maintain that 98% average consistently for a certain amount of time. I'm submitting my request as it has been over a year that I have maintained this.

M-Modal Feedback Dec 16, 2009Would appreciate feedback from anyone using M-Modal, especially Webmedx Enterprise MTs. Dreading the conversion and wondering if my fears are well founded.
