any info on Chronicle Transcripts would be greatly appreciated - ms

I passed all testing and now am up for an interview with Chronicle and was hoping for some more input on company. I see some posts, but older ones and would like anyone who might currently be working for them regarding lines, pay, work available, etc. I am currently with a company, SoftScript, and really need to get out, but do not want to go to another company just as bad. Thanks.

was notified the account is going to ASR. The voice files are horrible. The platform is not user friendly. It takes a long time to get in and out of the reports. Good luck!

Very unorganized company. I couldn't get out of there - fast enough.

Sent them my resume, did their testing. They got back to me stating they are not IRS approved to do business in the state of Florida. Be careful.

They couldn't tell you this before making you go through - the testing?

My experience working there (I resigned after 7 months). - They are nice enough people

but nice does not pay your bills. I found them to be very uninformed and in, in fact, in speaking to my supervisor during a QA review when she couldn't answer my specific questions on the review that those in charge have no hands on transcription experience. I had to submit my questions in writing and they would forward them to someone who could answer them. We then routinely ran out of work and the platform was the worst I'd ever worked on. I chalked it up to bad experience and moved on.

I applied to them and they sent me an e-mail saying they were not approved by the IRS to do business in the state where I live. Whaaaaa is that all about?

Well, I was turned down. They stated that it was not because I was not qualified, just that they had chosen another applicant so I guess it's on to bigger and better things 'cause I am still very much in search for a job. After what I read here, though, their turning me down may have been a blessing in disguise.

decent living wage at this company? I've gone through the archives and saw comments on the platform but some posts said those issues were resolved. It is possilbe to earn a good paycheck without working 18 hours a day? Do they really have nonstop work consistently or is this just a backlog situation? I have been invited to test for them, but I wonder what kind of company they are. I have IE9 and they want an older version of IE for the test (yes, the dreaded MTTest), but I am just wanting to make sure if I test and get hired, it will all be worth it in the end.
