Web/Nuance worker help? - Defeated

Hi....Of course, like everyone else, I am just sick to my stomach over the buyout from Nuance. My question is, are there any MTs out there who used to work at Webmedx and now Nuance who know the platform and can say they honestly make MORE money now? I have watched my pay go from 30.00 an hour to almost 18.00. I have hung on month after month after month. Now to drop it further, I have no choice but to leave. My last hope is to hear that someone is on the Nuance platform and at 8 cpl can make more than they did on Enterprise. Thanks in advance.....

Still waiting to be able to learn the specifics of our new pay, a lot of conflicting info out there, and I am waiting to learn first hand before jumping to conclusions. The platform stinks, and everyone I know has dropped in line count similar to what you have. What we are holding out hope on is that we will get switched over to their E*Scription program, which I have heard is much better. If we DO get more pay cuts with this horrible platform, I will definitely jump ship as I can't hold on any longer hoping for an improvement.

Meditech, which has got to be the worst program in existence. Meditech gets worse with their upgrades - another way to make less money on top of their pay cuts.

I'm sorry but there are people struggling to make 8 cpl without a bonus incentive!! Webmedx offers incentives starting at 5500 lines!!! You won't find that anywhere else!! The incentive significantly raises your cpl.

Go ahead and try to find a job with a straight cpl without those incentives and make more!!! Grass is not greener, been there and done that!!

what the people struggling to make $8/hour do. We work very hard for our money, too, only even harder now. BTW, I don't compare myself to $8/hour people. Either they're poorly skilled or poorly working.

There are people who have given years to companies just to have it all taken away by greed!!! They are losing their homes a d can't feed their children now because of what these MTSOs are doing to them. Don't you even think it is because they don't work hard or are poorly skilled. I hope karma visits you!! You have no compassion for your fellow MTs and are crying because you only make $18/hour and they can't even make minimum wage anymore.

I work approximately 32-35 hours a week, depending on if I run out of work. I know there are 2 bonuses, 1 is for how many lines typed, I believe 7001 a pay period, correct? What else is tied to this bonus? A low QA score, lph amount? I never make this bonus but I am a little confused. Now, the other bonus has to do with QA score, right? According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...

I thought they were 2 different services. Everyone is buying out everyone, so who knows. All the small companies have been merged I guess. I thought Nuance was out of New York and were the primary with VR. Maybe one has to keep up with the changes and be a member and pay the dues and go to the meetings with AAMT and be a CMT to keep up with the changes, even though you still get 4 cents. ...

Does anyone know why the ad says "No inquiries from overseas" when they obviously offshore the work? Anyone reading that would incorrectly assume they do not offshore. I was reading an article in the newspaper that a journalist was talking about a few days ago regarding the hospital outsourcing to the Web/Nuance, and the spokesperson for the hospital said in the article that the company only employs US MTs. ...

....First send us an email with fabulous Nuance ins (bad news) because they had to announce that due to open season. If Webmedx does away with or changes their recently advertised "PRODUCTION BASED INCENTIVE" bonus and adopts the Nuance quality based bonus then this change may be considered by quite a few WMX employees as yet another cut in pay.
