I could have sworn my CCM put out an email a couple of weeks ago to let him know if anyone had every worked on Transcend ? Maybe they just got some of Transcend's accounts or maybe I just dreamed it. Considering my state of mind lately, I more than likely dreamed it. lol :)

Not sure I've been there long enough to give you an accurate assessment, but my experience so far has been very positive. Only time I didn't have work was when I was in training and only had 1 acct. I'm sure others will call me a suit or whatever, but I assure you that I'm not. I'm trying to scrape by like everyone else. I wish you luck no matter what.

Very flexible, decent in every way, including my TLs (multiple) and my dealings with higher-ups. Left alone to do your work. Occasional incentives/bonuses. Good communication. A big company that feels like a smaller one. also am not a suit!

I have been with them for less than a month and being trained on various accounts, so not much work right now but I will be trained on a larger account next week. I don't recall hearing anything about occasional incentives and/or bonuses. Also, I am part-time, so does that apply to part-time people as well? Can you tell me where I can find out more about it? Thanks!

For instance, if an account is badly out of turnaround time, they might offer some kind of temporary incentive to entice people to come on board and help clean it up. It might amount to an extra 1 CPL for straight typing, or a half-cent per line for VR.
The best incentive I ever ran into was on a brand-new account, a few months back. They were offering a $100 gift card for every 10 jobs completed. I threw down 23, and received a $200 gift card in the mail a few weeks later. This was on top of the regular normal pay for the lines. It also happened to be in a specialty I've been doing since 1976, so it was very, very easy money for me. I just wish they'd do it again.... :)

to your account(s), you'll be informed. It will happen when the volumes go too high or late. It's not an everyday thing, but it has happened often in my region.

It was tough at first learning a new platform and then going to VR. Lucked out with an excellent region and great TLs. The only complaint I have is generic, undercompensated for VR editing. If you know your stuff, act like an adult and show up for your schedule,and otherwise do your job, you should have no problems. No work not an issue for me (except on holidays), have 1 main account, 1 secondary, responsive TL, left alone to work.

I have been here 4 months now and very happy. Started making the minimum quickly and doing very well. I came over from Webmedx, and what a nice change it's been. If my accounts run low, there's always some work that can be routed to me from other accounts. I really enjoy working in this region and have a great TL and ROM. It really does have a small company feel to it, as the poster above commented.

I'm not the person who asked the original question, but I do have an interview with Transcend on Monday and it is so scary looking for a new job when you have no idea what you are getting into. I really appreciate when MTs working for a company take the time to let us know what it is really like there so job seekers like me can make an informed decision about where to work! I'm a single mom with a mortgage, so everything depends on me making some $$$!
