Got an email from Transcend training dept thanking me for registering with them along with a website address to login using my employee id # and they even provided me with a password. Just too funny for them to still have my email address on file, as I have not worked for them since February 2010!!!!!!

They said they had some kind of computer glitch and they were working on resolving the problem. hmm, a virus maybe?

I got the same thing and at first I thought it was scam and was afraid to open it since I did not work for them, but at one time I was thinking about it.

It looks like Transcend is going after Medquist employees pretty hard because they have been sending out postcards and notes to Medquist workers asking them to come over and apply/take the test. No one could figure out how Transcend got all their home addresses - when it was suggested they could've been obtained from AHDI it seemed that was the common denominator since AHDI is infamous for storing and selling transcription employees' private information to other companies.

Well, yes. AHDI is indeed infamous for this sort of thing. I am not saying they did it, as I cannot produce proof, but it would go right along with their pattern and practice of exploting MTs for all they are worth. Just saying.

You really think that AHDI is "exploiting MTs for all they are worth?" I personally appreciate what AHDI does for us, including creating a standard program for teaching new MTs.

So neither one have my address, and I never worked for Transcend before. Not sure, though, if I ever sent TS an application in the past 30-odd years. However, EVERYONE sells names.

Software and server problems every day, but they will deny it and say it is something you are doing wrong, or it is your computer, or your ISP. Talk to IT and you get the straight story... yes, it's the platform and the server and they are working on it.....
