I know this is beating a dead horse, but--
I'm seeing a slight increase in my pay. It's not as high as it used to be, but not as low as it recently was. Work is sometimes low enough that I'm almost having to log in first thing in the morning and log out before I go to bed to get the line count in, but I've heard it's going to get better. I've got an offer from another company that I have heard is not problem-free either. I just don't know. You know the old saying about the "devil you know" being better. At the other company (better pay but also possibly low work), I will of course have to learn the ropes and start over.
Yes, I know I need to get out of MT eventually, because it's all going to s@$t, but in the meantime there aren't a lot of other jobs out there. Yes, management has kinda thrown us MTs to the wolves, but management does that to the MTs at ALL MT companies lately.
Anybody else in this boat? Opinions?
