Regarding Toth Transcription and US Wage & Labor. Employees/ICs for above company in Portland, CTis at least 4-6 months late in paying, 4 pay checks NSF. New bookkeeper each month. Husband and wife operation. Same story as Toth Transcription. Please think twice before applying. Been there, just trying to help.

As a recent IC for NEMT of Maine, there was never, ever a problem with pay. They pay weekly and always on time. Nicest people you ever want to work with. As someone else mentioned, the only gripe with them is not the greatest line rate and they require one day EVERY weekend.

Is this New England Medical Transcription? You stated Portland, CT, but do you mean Portland, Maine?? I have never heard anything exceptionally bad about this company except for maybe low pay. Just curious, as I live in Maine.

When did they stop paying on time? I worked for them for over a year five years ago. I was paid weekly and always on time. Only left because my hospital account went to VR. I thought the owners were great. I actually thought about sending my resume to them. Where did you get this info on them.

without any validation. It seems that they can take the time to post, but not take the time to answer anyone's questions. NEMT, for instance, is in Portland, Maine not CT. I believe that if NEMT was not paying their employees this board would be flooded with other complaints. No proof, no validation, no other complaints - falls upon deaf ears!!

I think NEMT deserves a good bashing as well - I mean, 7 cpl plus having to work a Saturday or Sunday doesn't sound like a good situation to me - no matter how "nice" the staff is.

Hi All! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with New England Transcripts based in the Boston area. Not sure what is up but find it odd with this company. I passed their tests and of course they send me paperwork to fill out as a new hire whjich I did. Get an email stating that the HR person would contact me to set up an interview. Okay, maybe I need a nap, but I sent them paperwork telling them the schedule that I would be available to work; sent it along with testing files, then got another email as to my schedule and availablility (this was with the "Welcome to NEMT email"). tell me how that works? I know the insurance premiums are less than a regular health plan. If your company puts 500 in your account, does that mean the first few times, for example, until you use up the 500, you don't pay ANYTHING or is it the opposite...you pay the entire office visit cost until you reach that 500? I want to warn all who look for jobs on this site of a company to be aware of - Interpro Services, Inc out of Arizona. They are ruthless, have the worst dictators in the industry and management could not care less whether you make any money or not. When you complain, you get "your contract terminated".
