Has anyone received their paycheck from TTD yet? - Overworked and not paid

I was just wondering if anyone has received their paycheck from TTD yet? Today is August 20 and they were supposed to have been written and sent on August 10 according to contracts. My mail has already ran today and no check.

Also when VB pulled out, we were promised log ins to another account and that was a week ago...I still have not gotten my log in.

I am getting no response from Amy or anyone. What should I do?

The obvious and only rational thing to do is to not transcribe one more word from them until your pay is brought current and until you have your log-in as promised.

I just emailed Amy again asking where the ID's were. I sure hope they get them to us soon and the new account is better than the old! lol Does anyone know anything about the new account?

I worked for TTD for a while. I quit because of disorganization. The people who run the company, QA etc are nice, but depending on who you ask, depends on the answer. I too dealt with IDs, waiting, no answer to emails etc... Remember that TTD is based in CA so it will take a while to get the check. As far as work load, IDs etc. I would encourage you to look on because this company is known for this type of promising and not delivering. Just my experience. It's not a stable place to work, that is for sure. Hope that helps.

Folks, this company is headed nowhere fast. It is there usual to have accounts pulled, blame "low counts" on MTs as to why no IDs are issued etc...It is nothing but a smoke screen. This is a secondary account company who feeds off the accounts of other places and when they turn in bad work and have such high turnover, they lose the accounts. Thus, you lose work. You will be promised more accounts and they will NOT be delivered. Now there is a stop check issue? No way folks! Guarantee the checks were never sent and she is buying time. Is she going to make a stop payment on over 100 MTs checks? Just crazy. Move on MTs...The writing is on the wall.

I only work there as a backup when my other IC job is low on work, so luckily this is not a big issure for me. This is awful though for those counting on this money. There should be some kind of bonus paid to everyone whose check is misteriously lost in the mail or whatever they are claiming. Everyone loves to bag on TTD, and for good reason, but it does work for some people. The account that someone mentioned waiting to get switched over to is the one I have worked on here and there for the last year, and it is pretty easy to get a good line count. However, at 3 cpl, that good line count does not exactly equate to good $.

TTD has problems, that is for sure, but don't be so quick to not give it a shot. I once went 4 months without signing on and was able to hop back on when work slowed down with my other job and work a bit here and there. It is not ideal in any way, but that flexibility works for me as a now 3rd MT job.

VB is one of their hospital accounts that you should be thankful for never having had the misfortune of working on. At least 80% ESL, conservatively.

I received my check Saturday. I know several others who have, in fact, been paid. I can tell you that Amy does not work weekends, nor do the clients issue IDs on weekends. There was an email that just went out a little while ago regarding the status of those IDs and info that they are in the works as we speak.

To the other posters here. Please keep in mind that one person's experience will not be everyones. I have worked for the company for roughly six years in one capacity or other, most of that as an MT, and have never had any problems. Maybe I am lucky. Maybe the others I know with the same experience are also lucky.

Keep in mind, folks, that if you are not typing, then no one else within the company is making money either.

QAs have no work to QA until those IDs are issued, and if there is no work processing, the owner is not earning either. Trust me when I tell you it is in her best interest to have her MTs working in an environment where they will be productive.

From a QA standpoint, this affects everyone, but once it gets rolling, I think this is going to be a better arrangement than the account we lost. And rest assured, the account was not lost because of anything we did so much as it came from higher up than that.

How much did they pay you to post that. Why do they - continue to post help wanted every 10 days or so.

You are SOOOO right! That company is a joke. The owner sure IS making money. That is why no one has gotten a check yet! It's Etranz all over again!

I am paid on production just like everyone else. I do not get paid to respond to negativity as some might think, but I do so because I feel that people deserve a full picture of things. Regarding the ads hiring for accounts, I cannot speak to that. I know that there are accounts coming on board in the very near future, maybe it is pre-emptive. No telling. I only know what I see and hear and what I experience. Have a great day.

Got the email that I would not be issued an ID because of low production. Wellllll, I don't work there anymore and haven't for quite a while, so I guess that WOULD INDICATE low production.

Funny how some who inquired about where their check was today was disable from their account. I was disable as were 2 other MTs that I talk with. All we did was ask were our checks were and soon after, we were disabled. We are not low producers either.

when I see these nonpayment companies taking advantage of MTs after all we put into these jobs. I just see bright red when I read these posts about companies not paying MTs. I have never had to deal with this but the links above to the moderate might be helpful. They seem to verbalize that they will try and help you when you don't get paid. Might try contacting the moderator as the post says they will help and maybe let us all know the outcome. I sure hope all works out for you and soon.

I haven't gotten a paycheck since July 17. Since I have been with TTD for almost 2 years, I took her excuses as legitimate and gave it time and yes...I kept working. For free. I have been told the same sorry excuse for weeks now. "Stopped payment on your checks and reissued them."
Really? Somehow 2 of my checks, in a row, got lost in the mail??? And she reissued them but they STILL haven't shown up? And this is the same lame excuse she has given other MTs this past month.
Sad indeed and mighty infuriating.

this is the second time my check was waaaay low than what I usually receive. I don't know what is going on. Just wanted to say that I just looked at my bank account as I got pad yesterday. What a nightmare. I will have a horrible weekend now because of that. Last year I made $13,000 for the year with MT, down from $26,000 the year before, and down from $40,000 back in the good old days. My income for this year will probably go before $13,000 for my taxes. My check was $682 for 2 weeks and that was with having work most of the time. And they have not taken out for me ...

Finally happened. My husband's 32/hr/wk WalMart check was more than mine today. How degrading is that? Big decision day today. Do I walk and spend 40 hours a week looking for a better job, which wouldn't take much? I have tried everything to get my ASR production up. There is no way, at 40% less a line than full transcription rate, that I can even make a difference. So, so depressed today. Don't know what to do. ...

As an ex-Transcender/now Nuance employee (ugh!), we used to be able to see what our paycheck would be two days in advance by logging onto ADP and checking our "pay statements" from the home page. On the "new" ADP per Nuance, it seems that is not available any more. Has anyone had any luck seeing their pay statements on the new downloaded site or know where to go? Thanks! ...
