Does anyone know what is going on there now? Looked like all the work was being forced into MModal and they ended up a couple days behind in their TAT. Now the work looks like it is being fed back into regular typing and SR. Just stringing the MTs along until they find enough newbies for MM maybe? Sure do not trust them. BTW the tone of the emails really changed after some posts here on this board described the beatings and nastigrams they were sending out.

My experiece has been when a MTSO goes to Fluency, get - ready to be bought out. nm

They are still using M-Modal for plenty of the work. I personally think M-Modal is not going away. Many of the accounts have no work for regular typing. I agree that no one should trust the company heads or supervisors. I do not think the tone of any e-mails has changed for the better. I'm still getting nastigrams sent out in mass regarding some issues.

Personally I think they are losing more accounts - Better have a backup plan!

Yes, they were so far out of TAT, and now it seems there is barely any work in any of my regular accounts, in any format. I think they screwed up their entire business and I don't think they are going to be able to get it back at this time. I wonder what they were telling all of their paying clients about why they were so far over TAT...Days over TAT! And sending out emails "asking" us to work 75 hours a week on MModal for a stinky paycheck. I could probably make more in Central Park with a guitar and upside down hat! lol If the hospitals had any clue, they would take their business elsewhere! Not that any MTSO is perfect, but Futurenet is at the bottom of the slimy barrel now-a-days!

I suspect that FN was sending the work out to their backup MTSOs besides trying to hire new MTs/MEs. You are correct that now the work is very low again and we are getting No Jobs Available once again. Not that FN gives a rats a$$ if there is work available or a half decent platform to work on. I thought those e-mails were beyond "asking" and were sort of demanding. An incentive in the form of money would have helped clear up that backlog a lot quicker than a million e-mails daily. I would have considered myself more a part of the team if I had been offered monetary incentive to do more work. Heck, I'd consider myself a part of a team if they would quit changing platforms and making it harder to make a living. Of note, management uses the TEAM phrase all the time, which does not quite work as we are all independent contractors, and they certainly do not treat their MTs/MEs like part of any team.

Well, just saw a report on my local news that one of the hospitals in my area is trying out the Dragon Medical voice/rec system, where they are doing it directly at the hospital right into the medical record.
