Does Keystrokes hire part-time?

Not according to their on-line application - Good Luck

I do not work for them, but according to their on-line application, as of tonight:

"Keystrokes Transcription is hiring currently for full-time positions only. If you select part time, we will keep your resume on file for future positions. If your status changes and you would like full time employment, please email us to update your status."

Hope that helps.

I know that they prefer FT but will consider PT for evenings and weekends. nm - KS MT

they hire for PT. However, they also hire according to what slot is open, i.e., FT for FT and PT for PT.

I work there and know quite a few of the accounts have recently had FT MTs walk without notice. This may be the reason for the FT only disclaimer on the app.

I also know they are short-handed mainly for 3rd shift, so if you wanted even PT it would probaly only be for that time.

I do backup for quite a few accounts and this seems to be a common theme right now in the company.

Only 4 MT's quit since March 1st. We have been working very hard to keep everyone happy and busy. It's been working well and we've been getting great feedback.

Anyone who has issues can email me; I am happy to help or will find the person who can.

I just had interview with Softscript and found out that they do not hire any part-time MT's. Here they let me do testing and go to all that trouble and never even looked at my application, where I distinctly siad I wanted only part-time. Just shows how much they look at your application. So I am wondering now if Nuance hires that way. If not then this is probably a waste of time too. Very frustrating that these companies do not let you know up front. ...

Does anyone care to share that if you are hired at optiscript part time will they let you change to full time easily? I know they are a small company and do not over hire so I do not know how easily this could be done.
