A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
Can anyone tell me how closely affiliated DSG and MedQuist are, and if DSG outsources to India? We all know MQ outsources, but I'm having trouble getting information. Thinking about working for DSG, but I don't want to go anywhere that has any affiliation whatsoever with MQ. I've heard DSG uses MQ's software, just wondering how far they are in cahoots with the Q on other things, like outsourcing to India.
Documentation Services Group, Inc. "formerly Dictation Services Group"
I have never worked for DSG, but the bios of the President/CEO and one of its Vice Presidents are very interesting.
Looks like the President/CEO had never been involved with the Medical Transcription industry prior to investing in DSG.
Noel R. Bambrough – President/CEO
“I got involved in the Medical Transcription Industry approximately six years ago when I made an investment in a start up operation. I am now President of that company, Dictation Services Group, Inc. (DSG)
Prior to DSG, I spent approximately twenty-five years in the Cable TV/Broadband, Telecom, Paging and Wireless Industries. I obtained Franchises and Licenses, financed and built networks in the US, Canada, UK and South America."

Sounds like they have big expectations for DSG, which if they do not already include off-shoring, very well could in the near future.
All together now, can anyone say “Where’s the Money.” The suits are looking at the profits.
Disclaimer: My personal, humble, unscientific, I-am-broke-so-there-is-nothing-to-sue-me-for OPINION: Sounds like someone may be bought/sold soon.
I said it was my opinion, not fact. No need for anyone to hyperventilate over it. Simply close this post and move on. I am sure there is someone else you can “educate” with your wisdom.
