Having been on a break and out of the loop for a few weeks, I went back to read some of the posts I had missed. I was shocked and appalled by the comments I read regarding TTS. I am a former (retired) TTS employee. I have worked for a number of companies during my career, some of them mentioned in the posts, and TTS is by far (in my opinion) the best. During my years at TTS, I was always treated with courtesy and respect. TTS is the only company that treated me like a person and not just some anonymous pair of hands cranking out lines so they could make more money. Having experienced first hand the generosity of a company that values employees who give 100% (isn't that what all companies want from their employees?), I can only assume that wasn't the case with those of you responsible for bashing companies you used to work for. ALL transcriiption companies reward employees who perform at or above their standards. I take particular offense in those comments directed toward TTS, but feel that ANY company bashing is not only juvenile, but has no place in this forum, where we are supposed to be adults. If you are unhappy with a company or feel you have been mistreated, it is certainly your perogative to leave. For those of you reading these posts when searching for a company to work for, remember there are always two sides to a story and usually the ones who complain the loudest are the ones who perform the least. Let's use this forum the way it was meant to be used....as a source of information for all transcriptionists....not as a mechanism to bad-mouth a company because YOU didn't live up to THEIR expectations. Ya know...I think I'll come out of retirement and go to work for TTS.
