Anyone work for SmartDoc or Alpha Transcription? - sore fingers

I would like information on SmartDoc and Alpha Transcription, how the pay is and what they are like to work for. Any information is appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am not sure about starting pay as I have been with the company for a long time.

It's VBC pay and turns out to be around 6-7 cpl. NO thanx. That doesn't pay the bills.

Well if you can do 400 lph that isn't so bad is it? - and I started out at that 6 mos ago.

I believe it really is TOTALLY about the cpl you offered but how good your skills are.

oopsie - I meant to say "it really is NOT about CPL you are offered" - I think I just lost credibility huh? HA HA

I average over 350 lph but it's very difficult to get that with VBC - I have a hard time believing someone can do 400 lph on a VBC account.

I was offered a job with SmartDoc - MTmomof2

and turned it down when I was told with all of my experience (11 years) I would be paid a whopping $.07/line. So what would the pay be without my 'experience' is what I wondered. Are you kidding me?!? That is absolutely ridiculous.

I seriously wonder if it is going to come down to being told someone with that much experience (or more) is overqualified for these paying peanut positions.

Has anyone had any experience with this company? I sent my resume for a job posting and was contacted right away. Heads up everyone Stay Clear of the wackos up at Alpha Transcription! They not only pay on the VBC but don't even know what it is or how to calculate it, have HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, are the most disorganized company any MT could possibly work for!
