I got a email stating I was invited to test and the instructions were attached to that email. I am really nervous about the interview though, still a newbie.
I got the same test - amy1223

I got the same email with instructions to test for them. It's been 8 days and I haven't heard back from them yet...
I have over 15 years of experience in this field. Tested with SOAP just to be told I am not a "good fit". Is anyone else out there tired of taking the ridiculous tests and questionaires? And when you are a "fit" somewhere its at 6 cpl. Seriously? They want all our expertise, we pay for equipment, and now have to be IT specialists. Does anyone know of a decent company out there anymore? ...
Has anyone else out there applied for one of there many positions and not heard anything? I applied for a few of them over a month ago and have not heard anything. I even sent them notes wondering if they got my resume and have not heard anything. ...
Does anybody have any current information about SOAP transcription? I have a job now that is not enough hours and have been thinking of applying with them if they are any good. I don't want to quit my current job and get in a worse situation if it's not a great company to work for. Any information would be helpful. TIA. ...
I've looked through the archives here and I'm not finding any current information on SOAP Transcription. Does anyone have any recent info for me on the company? Are they a good company to work for? What is their pay like? I read on their website that they hire someone with a Learntranscription.com certificate or a certificate from any accredited AHDI affiliation. Is that a must to get hired there? I don't have any certifications, but I have quite a bit of experience. ...
They posted over a week ago and someone said they had over 200 applicants. I am anxious to find out if I will be one of the lucky ones. Has anyone been interviewed yet? If so, congrats! :) ...
recently? I have an interview tomorrow for a front desk position. I haven't interviewed in 10 years and haven't held a front desk position in even longer. I'm nervous! Any tips/hints for the interview? ...
I filled out the application and took the test even though I knew I didn't want to work for them. I have read this board enough to know that they are no better than the awful company I currently work for. I'm desperate to get out of my current job so I've been applying anywhere and everywhere with a "you never know" attitude.
So I took the test and I didn't expect to hear back, but I got an email that I had passed the test. Ended up scheduling an interview, even though ...
I applied for a job on mtjobs.com. I received an email for an interview via yahoo. They want to deposit $$ in an account for me to buy "supplies/software/etc" so I can start my MT job with them. Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm sensing scam...... ...
I interviewed with Accentus after passing their testing. The interview seemed to go just fine. The recruiter said I will need to have a second interview with the account manager, and b/c it would be a new account, this could take 1-2 weeks. It's closing in on a week, and I'm wondering if they are really going to call me back? Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks ...
Tested and interviewed, offered job. No PTO until 2 years, then 1 week, then 2 weeks after 4 years? Nothing is perfect, but that seems hairy. Anyone work there who wants to comment? Can you take a vacation with no pay every once in a while? Any other comments from someone who works there? ...
an isolated experience I had. Maybe she was having a bad day? I was just really turned off and think I will decline a position with them based on this experience. Don't these companies realize the recruiter experience is the first face we see in your company? Very disappointed here. ...
I recently interviewed for this company. Spoke with a recruiter and hiring manager. They were offering 2nd and 3rd shifts. They provide 12 PTO days per year to be used after the first 3 months, 401 K, and benefits. The accounts they offered me were 100% domestic; however, they do off-shore some of their other accounts. Both gals seemed very nice, but the pay is very low. They pay 0.38 cpl for VR edited lines and 0.83 cpl for transcribed lines with 90% of their work being VR editing. How can one ...
Started in 1973 and my passion has remained steady over the years, a few years not so much. Seeing the change and didn't like it but it was something I couldn't walk away from. Set out to become as proficient as possible; do every worktype, every specialty. I wanted to be good at all of it..to be wanted, needed, and sought after. Also offered the security I needed when I was younger, single mom;l life not so secure. Being an MT was my haven, my source of being grounded.&nbs ...
When you are using a SOAP Chart style, do you every use PHSYICAL EXAMINATION in the headings? I have a doctor that added it in today with his dictations. I have never used it before in a SOAP. Thanks ...
On SOAP note:

I was just looking at the careers on Nuance's website and they have a position for "Soap Absorption MTs." Can anyone tell me what that is? I've never heard of it and have been transcribing for a long time. ...
Forewarning and forearming on these two companies. SOAP subcontracts to Care Tech -- HEAVY, heavy ESLs and I have 30+ years experience -- I got hired three weeks ago, started last week and the transcription manager of Care Tech, was "on and off" with school, days off so on and so forth. Thursday, I got the first NASTY virus of my "computer days" -- Ezula - it embeds on a toolbar -- I think coupon stuff. Anyway, I tried to "clock in" -- ...
Just curious because I did see the ad that SOAP had posted and maybe I missed it, but I did not see anything in the ad about them supplying the computer. I had a similar situation with using my personal computer to look stuff up on and the company computer for company stuff, but I have to agree, that it was a bit harsh on their part. I was just wondering why you were supplied a computer, if there was no need to use one of theirs. ...
I hope this is correct board to use.
Okay, I have done both but I want to know officially which one is correct. In a SOAP note if the doctor dictates "Clinically the patient has a herniated disc" does this go under objective or assessment. Thanks for your help on this.

Hello, can anyone tell me of a good company that just does SOAP formats for clinics? Trying to find something to work on evenings and weekends. thank you ...
I'm curious about something and I hope you all can clarify it for me. I've always understood that when using a SOAP format, you do not use headings such as HPI, physical examination, review of systems, etc.
I've got a situation at work where initially we were to use HPI, ROS, PE, etc., no matter what the dictator said. This was for a variety of reasons but a lot of it had to do with the coders. Now, the directive is to use the heading the dictator says.& ...
