Anybody ever got a response from posting on the Resume Bank board?

Just curious if posting on the Jobs Wanted or in the Resume Bank has been useful to anyone, or are companies just looking through resumes they receive to fill positions. Thanks! ...

I was wondering if anyone on this board has posted a resume on this board and their employer saw it. I want to post my resume, but I do not want to feel the rath of my employer if they found out or saw it listed on this board. I need my job right now,but I also need to feed my family, and no longer wish to be the MT who is understanding and sitting at the computer all day. I'm not sure where to post this... The resume bank is a great resource, but I wish it was a little more flexible. For example, the section where you describe what kind of work you're looking for is restricted to choices on the drop-down menu. Some of us wear different hats and are looking for IC work if we can get it and/or an employee position if it's a good one. So multiple choices or even free text might be more suitable. for the heck of it, and one of the resumes has "neg" cents/line and when I first read it to myself I read it as "negative" cents/line and thought what?? Of course I realized that the poster meant negotiable, but then I thought, the truth is, at the rate things are going we are going to be working for negative cents per line.
