Maybe try again - I got in

I had no problem getting into their testing sections a couple hours ago.  Did you have trouble getting into the Speed Typing Test part or the Q.E.D. OnLine Testing Site?  

If it was the Speech Typing Test, that website may have just been having problems when you tried to link in.  Maybe you can try them again.  

If it was the Q.E.D. OnLine Testing Site, you can try going directly to their Test LOGIN page?

On that page, it gives a list of the States they hire from (only 28 of the 50) and also allows you to sign up in order to be allowed access to their testing. 

I was not too thrilled that they ask you for your date of birth and Social Security number before they even allow you to test.  Isn’t it illegal to ask for someone’s age up front like that? 

First you have to submit your resume.  Then the next link, you have to complete an application, where they ask you to enter the information that they already have from your resume (school, employers, etc).  Seemed like a lot of work just to get to the test.  Then, if you do not get a high enough score on the written parts, they will not allow you to do the transcription part. 

If the site did not allow you to even get to the written part, you may have been automatically rejected because of the State you live in or something else that they think is undesirable (such as age).  

Good luck to you if you decide to go through all those hoops and apply to them.
