Word of warning on Indeed, Monster, etc. too-pls sm - RunninOnMT

I've found out the hard way that MANY jobs (not just MT, admin asst, scribe, virtual office mgr, etc) posted on these sites are scammers wanting our resume info. I started getting texts then calls and emails. Took me a minute to put 2 and 2 together that it was from sending out resumes on these job sites. Seems nothing is sacred anymore! Many of the **remote** jobs posted in particular are scam bait, especially if it's high-end income. However, they're apparently clever enough not to put outrageous income it seems so it won't always be evident from that. I have found a lot will not have much info on the company, job duties will seem vague, etc. so look for red flags.

I will no longer send a resume at all unless it's a legit company that lists their info and I can find on Google! I also took my phone number off and only list a throwaway email. Sad that now we can't even trust job hunting. LOL!

Be careful out there, Lord knows we have scammers coming at us enough ways already.
