You certainly can be hired outside the home at 68. So many employers are looking for anybody to work. Don't sell yourself short. Unless, of course, you have a reason you can't (which is none of my business!). Our hospital still has an actual transcription dept. Imagine that! But, I am almost certain this is the last year for it. First it was Nuance and their PC virus, and now I believe it was an actual virus that will be the doomsday for our dept. Saving money and we do not make them money at all! Good luck to you.
