Thanks for the comments. First off, I am an employee for this practice...I would be hiring someone to help me with the pathology transcription for one of the locations. Other MT's are being paid through an independent contractor with line count. That however is irrelevant, they are transcribing patient notes. I think you missed the point of the question. It doesn't matter how the other MT's are being paid. I already had the answer to that.
