This is what we're trying to tell you, this is the reality of medical transcription at home these days as an independent contractor. This is the wage range you're going to get. These are the kind of conditions you could get.
It's not absurd. It's reality honey, wake up. Or not. It's your choice whether you want to listen to people telling you the truth and trying to help you not make a big mistake. The sad and absurd part? Yes, it is legal. These company owners are not stupid. They've been smart enough to have lawyers go over these contracts and terms of wages. They know exactly what they're doing, putting every possible dime in their own pocket while paying you as little as possible to do that work that lines their pocket.
