When we work for these companies and accept their lower than lower pay and high demands, we are only enabling them to get away with it.
Every MT should find some other line of work and not take this abuse.
What other type of job would treat you the way this job does? What other job would demand you provide everything for such low wages? What other job would not be able to provide you work on a regular basis? What other job would not take out taxes and if you worked as an independent contractor or self employed, you would tell them what you charge, not the other way around. What other job would demand that you do so much free work?
Again, prisoners have it better than we do and it is time to stop. I do feel the work force has declined, due to retirement, MTs finally saying, no more, and hopefully no one gullible enough to get into this line of work in the first place.
