I have never worked for Medisys, but I worked for another company called Medrec Partners who did the very same thing. They classify you as an IC, but require you to work a very rigid, specific schedule and if you were so much as 2 or 3 minutes late logging in, they would be blowing up your Teams asking where you were. They treat you like an employee in every single way. They were absolutely psycho. I reported them to the IRS. We all need to take a stand and no be afraid to report companies for this sort of behavior. It is highly illegal and unethical and they could very well be responsible for our taxes.
