I agree with you. I have been an IC from the start of my transcriptionist career. I started as an IC to be around for my children, but then, as my parents aged, working multiple contracts with more flexible hours was such a blessing! So many times in my career as an IC, I know I would have not had an employee job anymore if I had had a strict schedule/line counts.
