Working from home in India - Another US MT

I think you might be mistaken about the infrastructure in India. In the larger cities, WiFi is readily available. The facility where I work outsources to a company in India that we have used for years and those MTs work at home. Since Covid, all our transcription has been done on time. If you read any job ads, the companies are looking for people who work at home. Yes there are slums but there are slums in the United States. If you have a Dell computer, it was probably manufactured in India. A lot of American corporations are based in India. I’ve never been there, but I think it’s pretty advanced.
