There are still some decent places that pay more than the standard low. The problem is usually that they aren't hiring in my state, they want more experience than I have, or I get in there but I cannot work with a babysitter checking in on me every 10-15 minutes.
I find that there are several medical transcription jobs at hospitals, clinics and doc offices nationwide but they are all in-house, not remote. I have 3 hospitals in my area that are all hiring, a nice salary and benefits but I have to work from home so...
