They have promised very tight TAT for their contracts. They would rather have 10 MTs fight over 100 jobs and then run out of work in 4 hours versus having 5 MTs and work for 8 hours. Everything has to be done now and it's always an emergency with them. They treat every job as a stat and will freak out if there is a slight backlog of work. It's micromanaged to death.
I've seen an "SOS" email go out and within 30 minutes, it's cancelled because they ran out of work. Then (no surprise), the MTs who are scheduled and still have 4 hours to go on their shift are NJA. It's been like that for years at TTS. That's how they roll.
It's probably workable if you want part time but it's a killer if you are hired full time.
