It is not a job with a set schedule even though you're an employee. They will just tell you to come back later, which wrong, so wrong. As an employee, you should be compensated during your shift when there is no work.

I put up with the same lies there as well regarding workflow.

This profession is so dead in the water. Nuance is in everything, and I just saw an ad that Nuance is hiring. So what gives?
