I believe they mean by the "hourly" is that if you fall below your production for your state's minimum wage, then you'll be paid "by the hour" of the minimum wage. You are really on production and are supposed to be meeting minimum lines per hour but if you don't....it's state minimum wage for you plus a nasty note telling you to get up to speed on your LPH or you'll be fired. All other kinds of issues with them but nothing that other companies aren't doing also.
