But it does make sense to me to file for unemployment due to a reduction in available work. My question is whether the weekly job search requirement would still be enforced right now because of so many companies being closed and probably not hiring. I'm thinking it would probably still be required since some places are hiring out there, even during this pandemic. All the grocery stores are hiring for different positions, part time and full time, even clerical positions.
