I moved away after my sophomore year in college. I was fed up with the frigid winters. My fingers and toes were always cold. The doctors ruled out Raynaud's when I was younger, but...I am not convinced that their diagnosis was correct. Anyway, the second half of my life will be spent opening the Advil jar on a daily basis, making love to my heating pad for whichever muscle aches the loudest at 10 p.m. and counting the days until I reach 62.
