Leach is also used to describe the process of dissolving out by the action of a percolating liquid.

We could consider Lee a toxic waste component that is "leaching" the employees wages.

See! Works out just fine!
Lee is both a leach AND a leech and a stone cold calculating criminal, but I digress, she is a leaching leech.
