Once was over an investment company that was about giving me the runaround about cashing out my account. They weren't the right agency to help me, but they did contact the company and helped facilitate a solution. The second time was when we moved and our home security company would not cancel our contract, even after they had originally agreed to the cancellation. So I agree that they may not be able to make them pay, but they may be able to direct you to agencies that can help. It wouldn't hurt to contact them and get it on record.
