What are the lower extremity symptoms being dictated. It's obvious the word probably ends in "itis", so maybe the symptoms might hold a clue as to what "itis" it is. Also, if the dictator is a new resident or even a PA, they tend to goof up with their terminology a lot or they just read from the record and misread if it's handwriting. This is also the time of year when the newbies start to dictate. Post back with some of the symptoms talked about and maybe someone could help.
