Oh yes, new MTs will take anything now - sm

don't kid yourself! That's why we're in this boat now because of the way MT has been marketed the past 15 years as a mommy job, an easy typing job that anyone can do, a part-time supplemental income job.

Some of these MTs are more than willing to make $10 an hour if they're able to work at home. It's usually just supplemental income to a husband, partner or Social Security!!

Especially if they don't have to pay childcare.

But, MTSOs get what they pay for, which is part timers who don't give a crap about the work as long as they get a little paycheck. People who aren't trained well, who require full-time QA (another layer of money) for weeks. MTs who can only work on a certain kind of account, easy dictators, one or two specialties but can't be flexible (and don't have to be as an IC).

Yep, there are plenty of MTs willing to take the low pay as long as they're at home, and this is what MTSOs have created.
