Where are the decent jobs? - Aba

Are there any good jobs left out there? I work for a person who verbally abuses us on a regular basis and pays us when she feels like it. She obviously takes full advantage of the fact that there are very few jobs left anymore. I have taken her junk for 3 years and seriously need to get out but I have a kid in college and i need to make enough money to pay the tuition. This is really depressing. I have 19 years experience and remember the "good old days" when jobs were plentiful. I tried VR and could not make money with that. Are the jobs hiding somewhere? Thanks!
