There will always be MTs willing to make less than federal minimum wage as long as they get to work at home and supplement other incomes.
It's all fruitless to try to fight this trend.
The experienced MT is leaving the field for better opportunities and challenge, and what will be left are older MTs ready to retire, new MTs who have kids at home and clueless newly trained MTs who've never known the kind of money previously available to an experienced MT.
It makes no difference what Nuance does anymore. There will always be willing workers regardless of conditions - as long as they can stay home.
