what deductions? taxes? can't quit UI won't - pay you

go on your state website but if you quit you are ineligible for unemployment insurance. If they fire you and contest your unemployment benefits, you will have a hearing with many, many stumbling blocks or obstacles in your way violate any of those and even if you WERE eligible for unemployment you will not get it because you didn't follow the right procedure. like miss your hearing phone call, not submit any additional information they ask for. even if the employer lies and admits to lying the unemployment office kind of sides with them. it's kind of like you against them. You also cannot be self employed and be eligible for unemployment.

If you are drawing partial unemployment, it is probably based on your income that you are earning and your weekly benefit should reflect that.
Here's a Kansas Unemployment trick. they mail your hearing information, big packet, it will list any additional information they are requesting ... read it all. There (in Kansas) will be a request/demand that you phone the unemployment office not later than 1 p.m. the day prior to your phone hearing date and verify your telephone number. Not doing that disqualifies you, even if in your request for hearing letter you included your current telephone #. You are not supposed to use a cell phone for your phone call interview... if you do and the call is dropped or cannot be completed, your case is closed and you are ineligible.

Unemployment is not your friend. it's everybody else against you. But you work in MT, you should be used to that by now.

I don't get the deductions unless you are paying for insurance or something. Benefits are usually tied to a minimum hours worked, like full time or part time if they offer benefits for part-time employees.

Good Luck.
