up since February. My 30-hour week dwindled to 24, 20, 10 and then about 8 hrs per week. I am in exactly the same boat as you - that is why I'm confused about why I've been retained until September. I thought I'd be gone in the April cut. I truly did not expect to still be here based on the way my accounts all seemed to disappear in rapid sequence. I saw it coming - I'm not one of those who still has a primary account with stable work, so again, confused why I'm still here.
Partial UE in my state is a joke. I am too old to "retrain." I was just hoping to make it about 4 more years and retire. I am extremely fortunate that my husband still has a job - but none of us feel secure in our employment these days.
I agree with you that I would consider working for lower wages as an IC, but NOT if they are going to tell me what hours I have to work, then run out of work, subject me to the same ridiculous QA that Nuance inflicted on me, or not pay me on time! How can they get away with this?
