ways to treat employees I've ever heard. A personal call from HR wouldn't be too much to ask. No excuse for it. Terribly sorry for anyone subjected to that dismissive call--you're better off not working for a company that treats people like that. No one is too big to fail, and some of those managers will probably be next.
