Once you are turned over to your physician(s) for independent scribing you have 60 days to show that you can consistently hit your production times and chart quantities, which is typically 3-4 charts an hour. When you hit the mark of your raise to $10/hour, you are guaranteed that. If you do 5 or more per hour you get your bonus production pay on top of your hourly $10. There will be occasional long-winded recordings that will bring production numbers down, but if you keep working consistently, there will never be a decrease in pay. (I just got my raise this week!) Hope all this makes sense. :)
