I am extremely fast and have been extremely lucky in the accounts I have found over the past 20 years. But having looked and looked for the last two years and finding nothing that is longlasting or even modest in pay, I give up. I feel like I have sucked everything out of transcription that can be had, and the well is now dry (except for minimum-wage jobs, of course - plenty of those). I am now at full retirement age and am going to start taking it.
So I have to agree with the other posters here. Use your education as a springboard to something else in the medical field. But you have to know that all medical jobs are low-paying for the education and experience that is required. New MT - you came the the wrong board to post!
