Would like MTs who want to switch to coding to really look at the job market and where they would have to enter the field (such as in-house). MTs have been through a LOT in the last 10 years, and some of us would hate to see our brothers and sisters go through the same or worse with a coding career. It is really NOT a good move at this point in time. They should look to other avenues for a career change. (And, yes, I am a coder as well. I code for 2 different companies and am really not happy with the field in general, for a multitude of reasons.)
