Yes, for that reason they care -- so they can dock your pay.
I was referring to the "integrity of the medical record" BS that "health care documentation orgs" espouse.
Nobody cares about accuracy in the final medical record. WE care because we pay attention to detail, and our employer cares so they can dock the pay. But that's it.
