As MT does the death rattle, working conditions just get worse and worse.
Smaller companies have learned from the large MTSOs to overstaff their accounts. It's no skin off their nose to issue a couple more paychecks, and their TAT is improved.
Meanwhile, we MTs are left to starve!
Get out while you're still sharp/young/healthy enough to retrain to do something else.
