Refresh my memory? How long usually - before NJA stops after Xmas slowdown

I feel like I remember this wrong every year. We get busy, then work tapers down to nothing around the holidays, then it picks back up again but... when? Anyone remember? I always think it should pick up by the end of January but it is mid February and my BoB is still getting cesspool stuff and NJA, especially toward the weekends. Is this normal? When does it pick back up? My paychecks can't take much more of this.
