If you have to stick around and are expected to keep checking and have set hours, you are considered working. They are trying to get away with not paying minimum wage. Contact the Dept of Labor. KS is already in hot water. They try to fly under the radar and are very dishonest. No one will look out for you but YOU. Turn them in. You are an employee not an IC.
