No, they don't hire from California and wasted my time interviewing and even saying they would keep me in mind for future QA openings. They are a joke. They need to post in their ads that they will not hire from specific states and minimum wage out here isn't that high, it's more to do with legalities than minimum wage. California sucks! Been here for 18 years and used to have tons of jobs that would hire and contract out here but now no one will pretty much. There is even a company that has corporate in California but will not contract with anyone who lives in California. That makes no sense.
